Fly: Northern Lights in North Iceland

Increase Your Odds of Seeing Aurora Borealis

Come see the Northern Lights in North Iceland. The tour takes you from Reykjavík City up north to Akureyri. There you will enjoy an Northern Lights tour in the evening, and spend the night on a hotel in Akureyri. The odds of seeing the northern lights are better in the Eyjafjörður Area than on other locations in Iceland because cloud coverage is less on average than in any other region in Iceland. We pick you up at Akureyri Airport  and drive out to the countryside or up to the mountains, away from electric glow and city sounds. You will be able to enjoy the beautiful night sky at the best possible situation. You can spend the following day in Akureyri and depart to Reykjavík when it suits you best.

Northern Lights Exploration tour is also available from:

Northern Lights Complementary
If your tour guide confirms that no Northern Lights where seen we will invite you on a complementary Northern Light Exploration, and you can select between a tour in Reykjavík or Akureyri. Please contact our sales team the day after your tour via email sagatravel@sagatravel.is or call us at +354 558-8888 to confirm a seat on the next available tour. Be sure to contact before 15:00 so we can reserve your seat.
