You fly from Reykjavík at noon or earlier and take on a slow journey through the paradoxical landscapes of Lake Mývatn and surroundings. We take you to all the natural highlights of the area and around dinner time we visit a local countryside restaurant for a hearty meal. We end the evening on a visit to Mývatn Nature Baths where you relax with the Northern Lights hovering on the star bright sky. On the following day you fly back to Reykjavík at a time of your choosing, or extend your trip by an extra day.
The Northern Lights, or the Aurora Borealis, are a natural phenomenon visible in the Northern Hemisphere. A unique display of light caused by a particle collision in the magnetic field of the polar cap.
