6 day Iceland Culinary, Nature & Northern Lights

Slow Travel of Nordic Delicacies

Iceland’s nature is at its’ best during the autumn. We still have the accessibility to everything like in summer time but the autumn colors are all over and the Northern Lights start to be visible in the end of August. This is the harvest season and therefore the best time to enjoy the wide range of culinary culture that Iceland has to offer. Daily we enjoy nature highlights and on selected evenings, with the right conditions, go out searching for the Northern Lights. Each day we take our time to enjoy the local culinary culture during lunch, dinner, or tasting visits to local producers. All of the producers we visit are small family farms and the knowledge has traveled from generation to generation. They will offer us to taste some mouth watering examples as the tour proceeds. During this slow travel tour we take our time to capture the essence of nature, geothermal areas and unique landscapes, while travelling through Iceland’s best agricultural areas and some of the most beautiful arctic coastlines and fishing villages. We will also use every opportunity to find and collect wild herbs, berries, mushrooms and all sorts of nature’s delicacy and either enjoy it right away or with our upcoming lunch or dinner.
