The main focus on this short break are the Northern Lights of Northern part of Iceland with the town of Akureyri as base. The town is centrally located in North Iceland and therefore perfect for all day trips, especially if you want a part of your experience to be a search for the Northern Lights. It is situated in the driest area of Iceland and therefore has the least cloud coverage. We make sure that each day is an adventure that you will be able to share with friends for the rest of your life.

Included in your Short Break

  • Direct transfer from Akureyri Airport to your Accommodation is included in all our Short Breaks. Upon arrival you meet our guide at the airport that takes you to your hotel. Hotel Akureyri is located in the city centre.
  • Northern Lights Photography tour is included in your Short Break. Our experienced local guides will take you out in the dark Arctic night and find the best conditions to capture the northern lights.
  • A half day tour to Goðafoss Waterfall is also included. One of Iceland most popular destinations, located only about 30 minutes drive from Akureyri.
  • Direct transfer from your Accommodation to the Airport in time for your flight back home.

  • We cannot guarantee sightings even if a tour is operated but we will choose the best possible night to go in your stay.
